2017 Chevrolet Volt We’ve already seen the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt in concept form and while the prototype remains heavily camouflaged, this is the first time we’ve gotten a glimpse of the production-intent interior. Inside the cabin, the Bolt electric car will be dominated by a large LCD screen that appears to be bigger than the eight-inch found in the 2016 Chevrolet Volt. Underneath the screen is a tight cluster of buttons and controls for climate and infotainment. Compared to the concept’s interior that was very minimalist, the production Bolt is getting a generous strip of vents running along the top of the dashboard, stemming from the instrument cluster. The gauge cluster appears to feature another LCD screen with bright graphics, suitable for the tech-savvy EV. The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt made a surprise debut earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show and the American automaker hasn’t wasted any time turning it into a production model. The Bolt is expected to have a 200-mile driving range and will get the jump on the Tesla Model 3 in the marketplace.
